After months of meetings and discussions with various parishioners, Fr. Vahan and the Parish Council are excited to announce the new organizational structure of the Building Committee. Mr. Edward D. Jamie Jr. has accepted the role of General Chairman of the Building Committee, under which there will be three Vice Chairmen. Each Vice Chairman will be in charge of a different aspect of the building project. This organizational structure was decided upon because of the large scope of the project and its many details. With specific roles being delegated to each Vice Chairman, decisions can be streamlined and meetings will be able to take place more efficiently.

Garo Sekdorian, Bruce Ashbahian and Dr. Lynn T. Cetin have accepted the roles of Vice Chairmen of the Building Committee. Garo Sekdorian will be in charge of overseeing the Construction and Community Relations committees of the building project. Bruce Ashbahian will be in charge of General Fundraising and the Legal Affairs committees and Dr. Lynn T. Cetin will oversee Public Relations and Administration and Special Events planning.

Together, all three vice chairmen will meet regularly with Fr. Vahan and Mr. Jamie and monthly updates will be given to the Parish Council and to parishioners through the Narrec. The executive body of the Building Committee has already discussed the names of treasurers, secretaries, subcommittee leaders and advisors. These individuals will be formally invited to a meeting once they have accepted their positions. Building Committee meetings will be scheduled the LAST Thursday of each month.
