This past week, Fr. Abraham and his family have been at St. Vartan Camp spending time with campers of all ages from many churches in the Diocese. During the week, Der Hayr has been actively involved with the youth presenting daily messages at Morning Services. This week's camp theme is the Church and daily reflections have focused on the meaning of the Church as a community of worshipers, the structure of the Church and its symbolism, the manners, rules and principles of the Church and the meaning of the sacred items and vestments used during the liturgy. Campers have also been involved in outdoor activities and social gatherings. Fr. Abraham and his family have been enjoying their time with many familiar Holy Martyrs campers!
