Holy Martyrs’ annual Armenian Street Festival had another successful year last Saturday. Despite the torrential rains that cut the Festival short by a few hours, the street was full of new and old faces throughout the afternoon. Once again, the crowds enjoyed traditional Armenian music, this year compliments of the Tarpinian Ensemble, and dance performances from Hye Bar, Aradzani, the Antranig Dance Ensemble and the Chinese Center on Long Island. Delicious food was sold, great raffle prizes were given out and friendships were made and rekindled during the Festival. Many thanks to all the volunteers for another year of great work!
