Last weekend, a group of Holy Martyrs ACYOA Juniors traveled to Camp Washington, located in Connecticut, to participate in a regional weekend retreat led by Diocesan Youth outreach coordinator Jennifer Morris. Over 75 teens, ranging from ages 13-18 participated in the retreat. Many came to enjoy the fun activities and see the friends they had made at past sports weekends or camp. The focus of this retreat was Intercessory Prayers in church and in our everyday lives. During the weekend, participants worshiped together, engaged in sports and social activities, had fun and took a rest from technology and their busy lives to learn and explore their relationship with God. It was a great time to learn more about the Armenian church, while also bonding with friends. It was an experience that many of our youth will never forget.
