On Tuesday, April 11, Fr. Abraham distributed Holy Communion to the entire HMADS student body in commemoration of Holy Week. During the service, Der Hayr stopped at times to explain the meaning of his actions. He also involved the students by asking them questions about Holy Week, the symbolism of Holy Communion and the importance of Easter. Der Hayr reminded the students that "Jesus sacrificed His life because He loves us. He loves us, so we have to love one another, respect each other and forgive." The students enjoyed the interactive service and are now eagerly awaiting the Resurrection of Christ.
