On Friday morning, March 9, Fr. Abraham held a short church service in honor of Michink (the middle of Lent). Afterwards, the Women's Guild welcomed the attendees to a specially prepared Mid-Lenten Luncheon and program. Guest speaker, Kathryn Ashbahian, from the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries at the Diocese, presented an interesting talk on “Power in Poetry, The Literary and Liturgical Art of the Word." The luncheon and program were well attended and we are thankful to the Women's Guild for continuing the tradition of Michink.
