ACYOA Day

ACYOA Day
On Sunday, March 25, members of the parish community came together to celebrate Palm Sunday in the church auditorium in the company of friends and family. After Badarak, parishioners attended a lovely luncheon co-hosted by the ACYOA Juniors and Seniors. It was a festive event which featured delicious traditional Armenian dishes and cultural entertainment. To kick off the afternoon, welcoming remarks were delivered by the ACYOA Seniors Vice Chairman Alen Dokmeciyan, ACYOA Juniors member Nicole Mark, ACYOA Central Council member Arsen Yelegen, and Parish Council liaison Aram Ciamician. Following the remarks, guests enjoyed a variety of mezze dishes along with delicious entrées while watching some of Holy Martyrs’ most talented showcase their skills. Performances included the passionate singing of "Yerevan Erebuni" by Karina Vartanian, traditional dancing by Hye Bar, and a moving solo singing performance by Yeretzgin Karine Malkhasyan. Lastly, guests played a Holy Martyrs-themed trivia game focusing on the church’s rich 60-year history. Following a benediction by Fr. Abraham, desserts were served and a ceremonial cake was enjoyed. The entire Holy Martyrs ACYOA thanks the parish for its support and would like to give a special thanks to Garen Karamyan and Madeia Mark for their efforts and leadership.
