CASP

In recognition of International Children's Day, a second collection was made during Badarak on June 10 for CASP (Children of Armenia Sponsorship Program) which is a special project of Women's Guild Central Council. It is administered through our Diocese with the help of FAR and 3 volunteers in the US. To sponsor a child is a yearly commitment of $250 which is distributed in two payments to the child's guardian. The Kindergarten Meal Program provides 3 healthy meals a day to children in 5 locations near the Azeri border. A presentation with photos of the children and details of the administrative process took place during the Fellowship hour. There are presently about 100 children who are waiting for sponsors.
