On Tuesday, November 13, Fr. Abraham took part in the 11th Annual Orthodox Prayer Service for the United Nations Community. This year's service, held at St. Vartan's Cathedral, was hosted by the Archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch for the Eastern United States. The theme for the service was "The Continuing Humanitarian Crisis in Syria and Iraq." The Annual Orthodox Prayer Service is offered by the Standing Conference of Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the the United States of America.
