The 10th and 11th grade Sunday School students attended a full day retreat at St. Nersess Armenian Seminary in Armonk, NY on Saturday, April 6. The students, along with their teacher Dr. Arthur Asadorian, had the opportunity to pray, reflect, and join in friendship and faith discussion with their classmates who have journeyed together in Sunday School for many years. The theme of the retreat was, "Wise Choices: Writing Your Story." They discussed how the choices they make can affect them and how they write the story of their lives. The students had discussions with our own beloved Fr. Abraham and Pastor Hector Torres of Resurrection City Church in Brooklyn. Everyone enjoyed the tranquil and serene surroundings of the Seminary, and the day concluded with a Lenten service in the St. Hagop Chapel before heading home.
