Another successful Sunday School year came to a close on Sunday, June 1. Before the graduation ceremony and reception, the Sunday School students gathered in Kalustyan Hall for a Promotion and Awards Ceremony. After Badarak, the graduates (Sophie Baghdassarian, Andrew Gazal, Caroline Gazal, Daniela Gazal and Talene Kerbeykian) entered the sanctuary with their families and received their diplomas from Fr. Abraham. During the graduation reception each graduate read excerpts from their essays. Fr. Abraham ended the beautiful afternoon with the following thought….”If the Women’s Guild is the backbone of this parish, then the Sunday School is definitely the heart!” We need to nurture our students always. Congratulations graduates!
