The Holy Martyrs Sunday School held a staff service retreat at The Father’s Heart Ministries Soup Kitchen on the lower east side of Manhattan on September 20. Twelve Sunday School teachers and board members and five ACYOA Seniors gathered together with other local volunteers to feed 738 guests. The experience was both humbling and fulfilling, and provided an opportunity for our Sunday School leaders to get to know one another through an important outreach project.
