On Friday evening, October 24, Mrs. Zarmine Boghosian, principal of HMADS, was presented the prestigious St. Sahag-St. Mesrob Medal of Honor and Encyclical at a beautiful evening of “recognition and tribute” at the North Hempstead Country Club. The medal, bestowed by the order of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, was presented by His Eminence Abp. Khajag Barsamian, Primate. The evening, organized by the HMADS board, highlighted Mrs. Boghosian’s dedication and service to the Armenian community with alumni speakers, music, a slide show and the reading of the gontag by Fr.
