Fr. Abraham and a few members of the Genocide Commemoration Committee met with Beth Lilach, Senior Director of Education and Community Affairs from the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center (HMTC) of Nassau County on Tuesday, March 3. The purpose of the meeting was to collaborate on a Centennial Memorial event to take place at the HMTC this spring to help raise awareness of the Armenian Genocide to non-Armenians. After the meeting Fr. Abraham presented Ms. Lilach with a signed copy of the book "The Armenian Genocide", by Verjine Svazlian and a Centennial lapel pin.
