From March 9-11, Fr. Abraham attended the annual clergy mid-Lenten retreat in Elberon, NJ. This year's theme was "Living the Gospel of Christ: Legacy of our Martyrs." During the retreat the clergy discussed the Armenian Genocide and the upcoming canonization of the martyrs. In addition, Fr. Abraham delivered a reflection titled "Christian Suffering: Armenian Genocide and God." "God works things for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28)," said Fr. Abraham. "Everything is a mystery. Life is a mystery, suffering is a mystery and death is a mystery."
