Service Project
The Holy Martyrs Sunday School led the charge in preparing a record 1,142 bologna and cheese sandwiches on Sunday, November 20. Students, teachers, parents, and members of the ACYOA Juniors, assembled the sandwiches in approximately 35 minutes for the Mary Brennan Inn in Hempstead, NY. The sandwiches were delivered on the morning of November 21, and the soup kitchen volunteers were very impressed by our kindness. Many thanks to Dr. Arthur Asadorian for spearheading “Sandwich Sunday.”
