During the weekend of January 20-22, seven of our ACYOA Seniors members - Armen Bijimenian, Brandon Ajamian, Alen Dokmecioglu, Brian Sarafyan, Andrew Yenicag, Hayk Matevosyan, Christopher Artun - attended the annual Chapter Workshop, held this year at St. Kevork Church in Houston, Texas. The workshop served as an opportunity for our members to meet youth from other parishes and discuss ways to make the ACYOA stronger in their respective parishes. Friday evening everyone gathered for registration, ice breakers, and evening vespers. Saturday, the main day of the workshop, the ACYOA Central Council organized several sessions thoroughly discussing the 5 circles of the cross and ways each parish can ensure it is giving its members the full spectrum of events. In the evening everyone enjoyed dinner while watching stand-up comedian Antic from Los Angeles perform at the church. Overall, our members have returned with ideas to make our ACYOA stronger, and will be presenting on their experience in the near future.
