Movie Night
The Holy Martyrs Couples Club hosted a film screening of "The Line: Kyanq & Kriv" this past Saturday, March 11 in the church auditorium. The film depicted a remarkable story of love, patriotism and real events happening in Artsakh and Armenia in the early 1990s. The featured character takes us through an incredible journey from timid teenager to a brave soldier challenged by atrocities of the Artsakh war, friendship and love. In Armenia, the film was nominated for eight awards at the Anahit Awards and received an Anahit Award for Best Feature Film, Best Director of Photography (Vahagn Ter-Hakobyan) and Best Actor (Samvel Tadevosyan). After the screening, Artur Martirosyan, the Community Outreach and Communications Director at the Armenian National Committee of America held a question and answer session regarding the film. The Couples Club hopes to screen part II of "The Line: Kyanq & Kriv" this spring.
