On Monday, July 17, local clergymen from the Eastern Diocese joined Abp. Khajag Barsamian at St. Gregory the Enlightner Armenian Church in White Plains, NY to remember Abp. Yeghishe Gizirian on the occasion of his birthday (July 15). Yeghishe Srpazan passed away in March 2016, but the legacy he has left through his teachings to our seminarians and clergymen will never be forgotten. A graveside hokehankisd for Yeghishe Srpazan, as well as other deceased clergymen, took place at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY. Following the service, the clergymen gathered at St. Gregory for fellowship.
