On Saturday, September 30, the Oceania Street Armenian Festival was once again a great day for everybody. Despite the cool autumn weather and about 30 minutes of rain, the spirits of all who came and volunteered could not be dampened! The day’s entertainment included outstanding music by the John Berberian New England Ensemble and wonderful dance performances by three Armenian, one Greek and one Chinese dance group. The crowd cheered on each group and could not get enough! In addition to the sale of delicious Armenian cuisine, there were also very busy vendors and great rides and arcades for the adults and children to enjoy. The Street Festival Committee tries hard to provide our community with the best one-day event possible. The success of our event has proven that their efforts are much appreciated. Fr. Abraham and the Parish Council are thankful to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to put together a great afternoon for all.
