Home Blessing

On Wednesday morning Holy Martyrs Armenian Day School students greeted His Eminence Khajag Barsamian, Primate, for the annual Home Blessing of the school. The students listened attentively as His Eminence spoke about the tradition of Home Blessing and the Nativity. Children eagerly answered questions and recited poems for His Eminence. Following the Home Blessing ceremony, the children were each given a special gift and the 5th and 6th grade students had the special opportunity to sit with and ask questions to His Eminence. It was a memorable morning and one we are sure the children will remember.
