AWHF

AWHF
Last Sunday, Razmig Arzoumanian, co-founder of the AWHF, gave an informative and heartfelt presentation about this important non-profit organization. AWHF was established in 2016 to help the wounded soldiers fighting in Artsakh. The organization is also raising funds to provide Armenian soldiers with basic medical kits that can help save their lives during combat. Samples of the medical kits were shown during the presentation as well as clips of videos of soldiers who are currently being helped through the financial support from the AWHF. Parishioners were moved by the presentation and about $1500 was donated to AWHF that afternoon. Mr. Arzoumanian has been actively involved in Armenia and Artsakh since the early 1990's, has worked and lived there, and has extensive experience in the country in business and philanthropic projects. He agreed to match all donated monies that afternoon!

Robert Avetisyan, Permanent Representative of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic to the United States and Canada was a special guest at the AWHF presentation. Mr. Avetisyan presented Fr. Abraham with a full-sized Artsakh flag, which now stands next to the Armenian flag in the auditorium. The hope is that one day Artsakh with be one with Armenia.
