On Sunday, February 11, students, parents, teachers and staff of the Sunday School gathered in K-Hall to prepare sandwiches for the Mary Brennan INN in Hempstead, NY. Prior to making bologna and cheese sandwiches, the students watched a video about the soup kitchen and how it assists those in need. Ready to take on the challenge, everyone worked in unison to assemble 781 sandwiches that were delivered to the INN on Monday! Many thanks to our Sunday School families who donated the sandwich ingredients and to Dr. Arthur and CoraAnn Asadorian for bringing a delicious cake to celebrate Poon Paregentan.
