Early Saturday morning, on March 17, eight members of Holy Martyrs ACYOA Seniors, along with their co-youth directors Medeia Mark and Garen Karamyan, and Johnny Chadoian - a student at St. Nersess Armenian Seminary, visited The Father’s Heart Ministries in Downtown Manhattan to volunteer in their weekly soup kitchen. Members helped fill different roles such as serving, bagging take-home food, cooking, and other tasks that are required in the 3 hour long program. That day, the ACYOA members helped serve 557 men, women and children who are struggling to meet the minimum needs of food and drink. Holy Martyrs ACYOA plans programs to volunteer within both the local Armenian community, as well as the greater community that we all live in.
