SS Graduation
The Sunday School year ended with a joyous celebration as five students, Christian Ahrem, Danielle Ashbahian, Armen Demirjian, Ty Puskuldjian, and Christian Tituana took a much anticipated walk down the church aisle with parents and family members and received diplomas from Fr. Abraham in the church sanctuary. The graduates, who had also served in various capacities during Badarak, were then honored at a festive luncheon in the auditorium. Dr. Arthur Asadorian, Co-Superintendent and senior class teacher, emceed, expressing his joy in the class’ extraordinary faith journey. The program included inspiring words by guest speaker Bruce Ashbahian and Parish Council Chair Aram Ciamician, a touching Power Point of students’ activities over the years (“from little angels to apostles”), and student reflections and essays. The highlight was a parade of younger grades (who had participated earlier in a promotion assembly and received attendance and service awards), presenting their handcrafted love gifts to each graduate. Fr. Abraham concluded the afternoon with a challenge for the graduates to remain faithful and dedicated. Congratulations, Class of 2018!
