HMALS Graduation
On Sunday, May 20, HMALS held their 7th Grade and Kindergarten Graduation and year end hantes. Principal, Elizabeth Khodabash and Chair Lady, Susie Horioglu welcomed Fr. Abraham, family and friends and thanked everyone for spending the afternoon to support the school and enjoy the songs and performances by our talented students.
The audience enjoyed the program which included poems, songs and musical pieces played by Natalie Horioglu on the piano, Nairi and Ari Parsamian on violin. We are proud of our 7th Grade Graduation: Marianna Mkrtchian, Garen Mkrtchyan and Alex Uryan, our Kindergarten graduates: Armen Malkhasyan, Grace Hasmik Matevosian, Nairi Parsamian, Suren Sargsyan, Sophia Silak and Iliana Yagliyan. Special awards were given to our graduates and students from all grades based on merit, fortitude and determination. Der Hayr thanked our principal, teachers and board members for their tireless efforts to educate our children about the importance of preserving the Armenian language, culture and heritage. After the program, everyone was invited to a luncheon to celebrate another successful academic year.
We look forward to greeting, old and new, students for another successful school year for the 2018 – 2019 School Year. Have a safe and pleasant summer!
