On Tuesday morning, September 11, Fr. Abraham attended the "Community 9/11 Memorial Service" at the Bellerose Jewish Center. The service honored the memory of the innocent victims who lost their lives on that tragic day 17 years ago. The service also highlighted the bravery of the First Responders who were called to action that day. Clergy members of various faiths, including Fr. Abraham, elected officials, First Responders and local dignitaries shared their reflections on the attack on humanity. "What happened on September 11, 2001 was a genocide," said Fr. Abraham. "It was an organized effort by a group of individuals against the American people."
Fr. Abraham held a Prayer Service in church sanctuary on the Tuesday evening for the souls of all who perished on 9/11. May God rest their souls in peace.
