"Couples Connect"

Lynn and Eddie Jamie, Jr. graciously hosted a Couples Connect event for the Couples Club at their lovely home on Friday, September 28. Couples from the parish gathered for dinner and meaningful fellowship. Couples who are presently engaged in the group and parish life invited others who have expressed an interest in participation with the intent of having more of a connection with their faith and church life. Fr. Abraham, several Parish Council members, and Lynn Jamie led a lively discussion which started with favorite Holy Martyrs memories and moved forward to attendees thoughts on spirituality and its place in their busy lives, and in many cases, the lives of their children.

The Couples Club is for couples who want to grow closer as a couple, closer to other couples, and closer to God through fellowship and study. Couples of any age are invited to join us for food, fellowship, and fun. Past events have included: Bible Study, Kini and Baneer Night, Salsa Night, Summer gathering, an outing to see a "A Christmas Carol," with many more events to come! If you would like additional information regarding the Couples Club, please email the church office at office@holy-martyrs.org. Please note that events are sometimes held at couples' residences so space is limited.
