Girls Basketball
The Girls Basketball Team just started its third season after not having a team in the ACSA League (Armenian Churches Sports Association) for five years. The team started three years ago with very young girls, most who had never played basketball before. The girls have been working hard for the past two years and it is staring to show. This past Sunday, our girls got their first win in a very exciting and intense game against St. Thomas. Holy Martyrs had control for most of the game over a much older and taller St. Thomas team. The final score was 32-30. We are hopeful to add a few more wins to finish out the first half of the season. Congratulations to our Girls team!
