Tree Lighting
On Friday evening, December 7, the Holy Martyrs Family Christmas Tree was lit and decorated by the children of our church family during a special tree-lighting ceremony. Following the Hayr Mer, led by Fr. Abraham, the lights were turned off in the Kalustyan Hall lobby and the countdown began. After the tree was lit, the children placed their ornaments on the tree. Each ornament is a reflection of a family in our larger “church family.” The Holy Martyrs Family Christmas Tree is a beautiful reminder that together we are much more vibrant than alone. After the tree lighting, the children and families enjoyed food and fellowship at our Hye Café, Free hot cocoa was available to warm the hearts of all. The tree lighting and trimming was a huge success and a very inspiring event for our church family.
