On Thursday, January 17, the Holy Martyrs Armenian Day School Family graciously welcomed Very Rev. Father Daniel Findikyan, our newly elected Primate, to our school for our annual Home Blessing, "Duhnorhnerk." Upon the arrival of the Primate, our students joined in singing Hayr Mer and took part in singing during the Home Blessing service, of which Fr. Abraham also took part. Principal, Seta T. Megherian warmly welcomed the Primate to our school and congratulated him on his new appointment. The students had prepared a lovely potpourri of songs and recitations for our Primate. At the conclusion of the brief program Fr. Daniel took the time to meet with each and every student.
The fifth and sixth grade classes remained to have breakfast with the Primate and Fr. Abraham and had a question/answer session. It was a memorable day and we look forward to meeting with Fr. Daniel again soon.
