Super Bowl
On Sunday, February 3, parishioners from different parts of the Holy Martyrs community gathered in Kalustyan Hall to watch Super Bowl 53 between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. Party guests, including several students from St. Nersess Seminary, enjoyed a fun night of fellowship sponsored by Hye Cafe and the ACYOA Seniors. Guests were served everything from chicken and luleh kebab to buffalo wings, burgers, and nachos, as they watched Berj Najarian and the New England Patriots clinch their sixth Super Bowl title. Berj, son of Holy Martyrs' own Dr. Louis Najarian, is the Patriots Director of Football & Head Coach Administration. He made headlines in 2015 when Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick wore a "Forget Me Not" flower pin to the White House in recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Thank you to all of our guests and volunteers in making Super Bowl Sunday a successful night.
