A Eagle Scout
Achieving this highest rank in scouting is a long and dedicated journey which only a few complete. Robert has been a Cub Scout and then a Boy Scout for 12 years. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 170 in Syosset and has held all of the leadership positions available in scouting for many years. Robert has earned 49 merit badges and counting, and is a member of the “Order of the Arrow”(BSA Honor Society). Robert is also a part of the Theodore Roosevelt Council on Long Island. For his Boy Scout service project Robert helped build a kiosk in front of the hiking trail at Cushman Woods in Matinecock, Long Island, removed invasive plants and planted 60 native plants.
On Saturday, March 30, Fr. Abraham attended Robert’s Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony. Robert is a Senior at Syosset high school and will be attending the George Washington University in Washington DC in the fall.
