Last Sunday, we were honored to have Bishop Sahak Mashalian as our guest homilist during Badarak. Well-known as a great theologian and preacher, Sahak Srpazan spoke eloquently in Armenian and English. Referencing the parable of the Unjust Steward he said, "Today, Jesus speaks about prayer and the power of persistence. Persistence and constant prayer changes something in us, not in God. When we pray, there is a problem in us. We must nourish our intimacy with God and learn how to pray. Spiritual maturity comes from wrestling with God."
Sahak Srpazan joined the faithful during Fellowship Hour, where many were able to greet him and take photographs.
