On Sunday, April 7, the parish sponsored a Children’s Day for all the children of our community. Many children received Holy Communion and at the conclusion of Badarak, Fr. Abraham invited all the children in the church sanctuary to come forward and gather around him as he gave a children’s sermon. With the use of bubbles, he emphasized that we must be gentle with one another and always love one another as God loves us. To conclude the service, Fr. Abraham led a blessing for not only children but also their families.
After the blessing service over one hundred children and parents gathered in Kalustyan Hall for an Easter Egg Hunt. Children hunted for eggs on the church grounds and families enjoyed a buffet of delicious treats. The Easter Bunny paid a visit and took pictures with all of the children and families during the afternoon's festivities. Thank you to the Couples Club, ACYOA, the Sunday School, and HMALS for organizing this event.
