The solemn Holy Week services commemorating Christ's last days on this earth, culminated in a beautiful Jrakalooytz Badarak last Saturday welcoming the resurrection of Our Lord. On Easter Sunday, as Fr. Abraham proclaimed "Christ is Risen," it was beautiful to see a church overflowing with many children and lots of new faces!
Washing of the Feet
“Jesus Christ's act of washing the feet of His disciples is the greatest example of humility," said Fr. Abraham, as he reenacted Christ’s actions on Holy Thursday evening. This year the following fathers and sons had their feet washed: Juan and Sarkis Bakirdjian, Alex and Gary Baron, Robert, Arno, Arame and Enzo Bijoyan, Jeffrey and Grant Eden, Greg and Aren Saraydarian, Alan and Nico Simon Semerjian.
