67th Annual Armenia Way Festival Huge Success!
67th Annual Armenia Way Festival Huge Success!
Faith and Community… that is how one could describe the wonderfully successful Festival we held on Saturday, September 16, on our church grounds. For months leading up to the event, our dedicated parishioners and festival team had FAITH as they planned, chopped, mixed, baked, packaged, skewered, cooked, served, and greeted our guests. And then there is COMMUNITY – you, our dear parishioners and friends who attended, danced, sang, ate, purchased, drank, mingled, and prayed. We are grateful for your support and congratulate all our volunteers and all the raffle winners! You helped make our largest fundraiser a success. We welcome you to continue the momentum by joining an auxiliary, volunteering your time and talent, and praying with us on Sunday mornings.
We also thank our Primate, Fr. Mesrop Parsamyan, for stopping by. He summed up the day best in his Facebook post: “I was surrounded by the beautiful colors, tantalizing aromas, and sweet sounds of music that make our Armenian culture so rich and unique. Cultural displays were abundant, with joyful dances and heartfelt songs performed by community members of all ages. The festival stands as a compelling testament to the resilience and vitality of our culture and faith. The communal prayer for our brothers and sisters in Artsakh moved me most profoundly. In that sacred moment, we were united, affirming that faith is the cornerstone of our unity and resilience, providing us the strength to face challenges and endure difficulties. I left the event feeling deeply grateful for a day that exemplified the best of what it means to be both Armenian and Christian. To Fr. Abraham Malkhasyan, the Pastor of the Armenian Church of Holy Martyrs, the Festival Committee, the Parish Council, and all who organized, participated, or attended, thank you!!! Your efforts made this more than just an event; it was a gathering of hearts and minds, and I am blessed to have been a part of it. May God bless you all!”
