On Sunday, September 28, following Badarak, a quorum of parishioners met in the church auditorium for a Special Parish Assembly to discuss the allocation of funds from two large bequests to the parish. The Assembly began with a prayer by Fr. Abraham and was called to order by Parish Council Chair, Pat Apelian Aitken. Special thanks to Mark Movsesian who served as Assembly Chairman. After a presentation of the parish’s recent expenditures and future needs for facility renovations, two proposals were presented, discussed and voted upon. Both proposals were amended and approved to the satisfaction of all present. We are grateful to the generous donors of the bequests and to those parishioners who joined in the discussions to help secure a more beautiful and usable facility for our future.
